P.G.S.
WHAT IS PGS?
The Polymorphic Gaming System is a new style of tabletop RPG system. It utilizes a mechanic based more on your choices than the simple chance of rolling a die.
PGS is an underlying reality design, this means that the same rules are used for any setting from stone-age to far future sci-fi with everything in between.
PGS has six major races with each race having two to six sub-races for a total of 50 playable races (including the 24 possible Half-Elven crosses) each with their own advantages.
Character creation is point based. You choose what Attributes to build and what skills to train.
Combat is quick and deadly, with most being resolved in 3 ticks (rounds) or less.
A cohesive underlying rule set allows GMs the power and flexibility to design their campaigns as they see fit to suit the style of their party.
But you can't buy the manual ... yet.
PGS will be launching a Kickstarter campaign in 2017.
Accepted beta testers will be able to play limited campaigns with an in-house GM via an internet connection (probably using Roll20) in early 2017.
Final publish date is projected to be Q4 2017 or Q1 2018 pending the amount of funding and feature creep.
